During the heaviest snowfall of the year so far, units responded to a report of a structure fire in an apartment building at the corner of Orkney Drive and Main Street in Mount Jackson. When they arrived, they found no smoke or fire visible. However, shortly after, Command advised a working fire.

Crews from Engine 21 quickly extinguished the fire, which temporarily displaced 12 people from the building's four apartments. There were no injuries.

Responding to the fire were Mount Jackson Rescue and Fire Department, New Market Fire and Rescue Department, Edinburg Volunteer Fire Company, and SCFR.
